Your bespoke journey begins with a personal consultation in our East London showroom (adjacent to our atelier) or virtually. This is where we get to know you, your occasion, your vision, and how you want to feel in the garment. We’ll discuss silhouettes, fabrics, inspiration, fit, timelines, and any details that are important to you before creating a clear design direction.

Once the design direction is confirmed, we begin sourcing and selecting the materials that will bring your garment to life. From silks to lace, beading, tulle, trims, and specialist finishes, every fabric choice is considered carefully to complement the design, your body, and the overall feeling of the piece. You'll then be sent a PDF proposal to approve before we begin production.

Your garment is developed through a series of fittings, allowing us to refine the shape, structure, proportions, and details directly on the body. We'll begin with a toile fitting - this is a prototype of your design before we cut into your actual fabric. Depending on the complexity of your design, you can expect between 2 to 5 fittings.

For international clients, we will ship over your toile and conduct a virtual fitting. We also offer a VIP service for international clients who'd prefer an in-person experience (at an extra cost). Please email info@rebeccatembo.com for more information.

At your final fitting, we check the finished garment in full including fit, length, comfort, fastenings, and any final details. Once everything is approved, your piece will be carefully finished, pressed, and prepared for collection or delivery, ready for your occasion!
